High-Severity Vulnerability in Joomla Content Management System

Joomla has released security updates to address a high-severity vulnerability (CVE-2023-23752) in their Content Management System.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerability could allow a remote attacker to gain unauthorised access to webservice endpoints.

The vulnerability affects Joomla Content Management System versions 4.0.0 to 4.2.7.

Users and administrators of affected product versions are advised to upgrade to version 4.2.8 immediately.
