National Simulated Scams Exercise

The NSSE is an opt-in exercise designed to help participants learn how scams work and steps they can take to protect themselves through experiential learning. In a safe and controlled environment, participants will be exposed to actual scam tactics, preparing them to better understand how scammers operate and protect themselves in real life.

What participants can expect

• Registration starts from 1 February 2026

• Following registration, participants will receive robocalls at any point during the six-month period of the exercise, mimicking typical Government Officials Impersonation Scams (GOIS).

• You will be asked to provide information about yourself that is necessary for the conduct of the exercise during the registration phase.

Participants are advised to stay vigilant and treat all unexpected calls, including NSSE simulated calls, as scam calls.
